They are Building Envelope contractors, offering their clients full design and consultancy leading to the installation of high profile architectural glazing and facade systems and a vast range of roofing and cladding solutions. We are looking for a professional person to combine the two roles of Estimator and Quantity Surveyor to create a new position to enhance the company’s performance.
You will be required to prepare detailed documentation based on a standard format having carefully analysed the supplied specifications and drawings.
On placement of an order you will be responsible for preparing the financial project documentation and monitoring the progress of the project in conjunction with the Company Directors.
You will control the preparation and administration of variations in conjunction with the project managers and prepare valuations and final accounts.
It is essential that the successful applicant has an extensive knowledge of the construction industry, as well as high level financial abilities. .
Our client is an ambitious company and for the right candidate this role also offers future potential for development into a financial Directors position. You will be overseeing all aspects of procurement, estimating and developing a dedicated team to maximise profits.
You will be fully confident in the use of MS Word and Excel
You will take a great deal of personal pride in your abilities and conduct yourself in a professional manner. You will be expected to be well groomed, self-motivated and comfortable in communicating ideas to colleagues and customers.

The standard working week is 40 hours, 8.00am-5.00pm, although working hours may vary. The work is generally office-based; however, site visits may be required and involve an early start and/or late finish. Occasional weekend work may be required.
Basic salary commensurate is £35/45K pa depending upon experience. There will be a 3 month probationary period, with a salary review pending a 6 month full contract.
28 days annual leave (inclusive 8 statutory days).
